| The award ceremony for the 2012 winning "Maria" will stage in San Marco Square, where the 12 Marie will arrive by boats, leaving from Campo San Giacomo dell'Orio. At 4.00 pm, there will be the "crowining ceremony" of the Maria of this Carnival. Directed by Bruno Tosi, with the participation of the CERS. Theatre animation by Teatro a LʼAvogaria. | ||||
| Let's celebrate the highest tribute to the Lion of San Marco, painted on a large canvas, symbol of our city that, exceptionally, will fly from the bell tower over the audience in the square. To welcome him, on stage at the Gran Teatro of San Marco, a traditional venetian choir will sing the San Marco Anthem. Twelve young ladies from Venezia, the "Marie", together with twelve young cadets, will salute the flag. The event is a ritual full of emotions, to say goodbye to the Carnival of Venice. "Orchextrana" will song and play the "Inno a San Marco" during the flight. | ||||

| The Carnival 2012 ends with an extraordinary rock live music concert starring on San Marco Gran Teatro stage. Together with the Modà, the Radio DAF and Mike & the Mechanics will star on stage for this closing event of the Carnival, powered by Hard Rock Cafè. | ||||
