During the contest, special guests as the Murga Saltinbranco and the cast of the Carnival Bus 2011, which is ready to leave for the mainland. 	The election of Giacomo Casanova to official Commedia dellʼArte mask show. Directed and played by Maurice Aogsti, with the participation of Pantakin, Ass. Internazionale per il Carnevale di Venezia and Compagnia de Calza I Antichi.
	The traditional "Festa delle Marie" evokes the homage that the Venetian Doge offered every year to twelve beautiful but humble venetian girls, offering them magnificent jewels as a bridal dowry. The walking parade, escorted by the historical groups of the "Comitato Europeo Rievocazioni Storiche" and the Venice Carnival groups, will leave San Pietro di Castello at 2.00pm, walking along the Riva degli Schiavoni to reach Piazza San Marco at 4.00pm, where the twelve "Marias" will be introduced to the crowd waiting for them. Directed by Bruno Tosi. Historical costumes parade organised by C.E.R.S. with the collaboration of the Associazioni Amici del Carnevale di Venezia and Ass. Internazionale per il Carnevale di Venezia. 	Dj set, happy hour and entertainment   Concert: Tribute to Broadway (08.45pm) Free aperitif and finger food		€ 15
	Dj set starting from 7.00 pm. At 8.45, live music, with an international show dedicated to the top Broadway's musicals. From Mama Mia to Sister Act and The Lion King. The masterpieces of live musical shows will stage on San Marco Gran Teatro, starring an italian live band accompanied by 4 famous singers, dressing costumes from original musicals.
