The art of Mozart in a Party at the Ca’ Gambara Palace!
Theatre, music, comedy and joy of food to celebrate Mozart’s 250
years, living as a protagonist the emotions of the Venetian
Carnival and the atmosphere of Don Giovanni, in an historical
palace overlooking the Grand Canal. An innovative
performance by ICAI (Institute for International Commedia
dell'Arte) to enjoy a delightful show dinner.
An event for those who are looking for a
special way to play with the charm of the Carnival.
How?
Living as
protagonists a night of Venetian ‘700 and meeting Don Giovanni and
Casanova, 250 years after the birth of Mozart, who stayed in Venice
during the Carnival in 1771.

At Ca' Mocenigo Gambara, a historical palace overlooking the

Five nights of party, during which the inspiration given by the
general outline to the ICAI actors (Institute for International
Commedia dell’Arte) meets the delicate and buffoonery spirit of Mozart.
The public becomes the protagonist of a show dinner
where theatre, music, comedy and joy of food melt together.
The show is created by ICAI (Institute for International
Commedia dell'Arte), directed by Maestro Gianni De Luigi. The
venue is Ca' Mocenigo Gambara, historical palace overlooking
the Grand Canal; the ideal place to recall the cheerfulness of the 18°
century among mirrors, silks and frescoes.

The Masked Nozze di Figaro
The masks in the Commedia dell’Arte narrate Mozart’s work through an
endless chase of the wedding, in a scenic double game with the hidden
intervention of Da Ponte, Casanova and Don Giovanni.

Papageno and Papagena, Birds in The Magic Flute
Birds too love dancing, the minuet of courtship and the struggle with
the forces of the Carnival, in the magic wood of their twirling with
daemons. The obscure voices of Don Giovanni and Casanova join the
sound of the characters acting in the enchanted Mozart’s work.

To know and listen to Mozart’s arias and convey them into modern life,
in order to remove stress and rediscover the strength of cheerfulness.

tutte (They’re All Like That)
The voices of magic characters like Casanova and Don Giovanni together
with the actors of the Commedia dell’Arte give the public the means to
recognize themselves in those masks, surrounded by the music of Mozart.

il vostro vino (Your wine is excellent)
Wine as knowledge of the profound body of man and masquerade, during a
dinner that melts stone guests and Don Giovanni in the ghost city of
an undisclosed Venice.
Price per person € 250 – It includes the dinner and the show.
